Sick of being sick

Ugh, that about sums it up! I have been sick with my normal stuff for about three weeks, my normal stuff consists of extreme fatigue, sick tummy, aches and pains all over including my skin, my skin hurts so bad that even clothes are painful. I have been going through bouts of this for over 10 years and you would think that at some point I would get used to it, but alas I do not. Every time I start to feel this way again it brings up the issue that they told me with the combo of these two diseases I would be lucky to live 10 years, well that was 11 years ago so I am very hopeful that I am too stubborn to allow anything to take me from this world before I have had my fill. When I am feeling this way I know that my struggling immune system is way down, lower than normal, and that I need to do my best to steer clear of anyone with anything, even a sniffle. Well that is easier said than done. Husband caught a head/chest cold and two days later I was lucky enough to have searing, burning pain in my chest. This morning I woke up so full of boogers I was sure I would drown! Now my run down body says its time to stop and my busy life disagrees. UGH!

New school year

So we started school a few weeks ago, and we are trying to get our schedule all worked out, its so crazy to have BIG kids kids in high school and Jr. High... WOW they sure grow up quick! My kids are really busy, Kelsey has to be to drill at 6am Monday, Wednesday, Friday, so I have to run her in the mornings, then Kayden goes to school at 8am, so i turn around and go back to the school, then I work all day. Tony picks Kayden up at 3:30pm, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday he has football, He has to be there at 5pm-7pm,Wednesday are game days for him, this week it its at 8:45, (don't these people know I need to SLEEP!) Kelsey has drill after school on Tuesday and Thursday, and solo practice after school on Wednesday. Fridays are our school football games, and Kelsey dances in them so we have to attend them, my nephew is also playing for our school team this year on both teams so we will try to attend his JV games as well as his Varsity ones (that's where Kelsey dances). We only have 3 home games this whole year so we will miss watching him play!
This year Kelsey got asked to homecoming, which is our first home game, and first time she will preform so I am getting excited, not sure how I feel about the dance, she is kinda young, but I know her Cousin Steven will watch out for her and she knows how to make good choices, so all in all I think she is ready! After all this is what high school is all about right?
Tonight is Kaydens first football game and we are excited, I got an email at 4:30am, this morning saying he needs to wear a shirt and tie to school today for game day... UGH he doesn't even own one! So I headed to Walmart at 6 this morning to go get him one, oh wait I don't know how to even tie a tie... This could be interesting! Well I guess I will call my Sis if I cant get it she can help me for sure!
As soon as these events start to happen I will update with pics to capture all these great moments!

24th weekend

Well the weekend is over and its back to work, but I had a pretty good weekend, Friday we went to the Rodeo, and we got to take my cute little niece Millie. Tony was so excited to take her, (for some reason he tries really hard to get her to pay attention to him) so he insisted we go buy her a pink cowboy hat, we did, although I am not to sure if she liked the hat or not she was a good sport and wore it to make him happy. Saturday morning we all got up and headed down to the parade Kelsey and my nephew were in the parade this year so we went with my sis-in law, and her family, Amanda and Mandy came as well. After the parade we headed out to the lake with Mandy,Tina, Steven, and the kids, Kayden didnt want to go he doesnt really love boating like we do. Sunday I got to take my bestie to a movie and then we went to Mi Ranchito (one of my favs) to get a bite to eat. Overall a pretty good time!

Big Rock reunion

This past weekend after our big waste of time fundraiser, we headed up to Huntington Canyon to see some of our family for our annual reunion at Big Rock. I am really not a camper, but had every intention of doing it this year, we had made arrangements with my Dad to bring a tent that we all could sleep in. Once we got there we realized the tent was NOT big enough for all of us and Tony and I were going to sleep in the back of the truck. As Tony started to fill up the air mattress, the rain started coming down, I was determined to camp, but not that determined, so alas I ended up doing the very thing everyone expected me to and drove down to the house in Spring Glenn to sleep, out of the rain. I took my super cute little niece Millie with me since her Mom and Dad were gone I wanted her to feel safe and wasn't sure how the thunder and lightning would be for her if she was in a tent. The next morning bright and early we headed back to camp to make breakfast for the crew before everyone headed home. We had a good time we visited with family and friends and still I am not a camper.

I am a big softy

I have been thinking a lot, I do that once in a while, and I have been thinking about this one person in my life I truly find AMAZING! She is smart, funny, talented, patient, kind, understanding, loving, and most of all beautiful!
I admire, love, miss, and adore her. Although, I am not good at finding these words when it is time to tell her. I am not good at giving compliments, not even just a "good job", or a "congratulations", I have never been able to just tell people how I feel when it comes to the mushy stuff. (only the not so mushy stuff)
So although I may never be able to tell her how I feel, how much I love her, how much I truly look up to her. I wanted to write it down, so I will never forget, she is a wonderful Mother, Sister, aunt, friend, cousin, daughter, granddaughter and person all around. I am truly blessed to have her in my life and hope one day I can tell her that just thinking of her can bring a tear to my eye.

SO we meet again

I have not updated in forever seems like my life just gets more and more busy and the kids get older. Right now we have Kelsey playing softball, and doing drill, I am the drill Mom which keeps me very busy planning fund raisers, and making sure the girls have water, snacks, and moral support. Kayden is playing baseball and his team is doing very well, they have only lost to one team, they lost to them twice with the exact same ending score 4-3, that was a bummer for the boys.
For Easter we went to St George and and a great time, we also spent a day in Vegas walking around. For Memorial day we out to Mesquite and spent a day in Vegas, the weather was wonderful much better than back home and we loved every minute of laying by the pool.
Fathers day is just around the corner and we are doing our first team fundraiser that morning having a yard sale for the girls should be interesting. Jordan will be coming out the end of June and staying for the 4th of July weekend and we are all looking forward to that. As soon as I can get my pictures on a disk I will be sure to update them.
Also we got Kelsey a car my super little brother gave us a great deal on his Jetta and now we just need to teach her how to drive stick. I will let you know how that goes.

So, my house is finally almost put back together, after the kitchen flooded(thanks Gidget) we were able to get all new flooring in the Kitchen, dinning room, living room, and family room. We did hardwood in the family room and living room, also down the hall, and tile in the kitchen WOW what a job, my cute husband did all the work (little help from friends). It took about two weeks to get it all done, but it turned out great! He never knew he had it in him (me either). I am very proud of him and all he has learned d to do, thanks everyone for NOT helping us, he has been able to learn and I am glad.
Thanks for helping Curty you are a great friend who has always been there!
